We’re excited to announce the upcoming release of Exxat One on October 28, 2024! In this release, we’ve enhanced several key features to improve your experience in managing clinical placements and streamline your daily tasks. From better ways to view location and discipline details to more advanced filtering options and the ability to cancel schedules directly within the platform, these updates are designed to make your workflow smoother and more efficient. Let’s take a closer look at what’s new:
Enhanced Viewing of Location Addresses in Availability Details
We’ve improved the way you can view location addresses inside availability details. Click on the icon from the left navigation menu to go to the Explore and Apply page. Now, on the Explore and Apply for Availability screen, when viewing availabilities in the list view, you’ll experience a more intuitive way to see the addresses.
- Single Location: If an availability has a single location, you can now view the location directly in the availability listing.
- Multiple Locations: If multiple locations are associated with an availability, you’ll now see a View all locations hyperlink besides a Multiple locations label. Clicking this will open a panel displaying all locations and their respective addresses in an easy-to-read list view.

Improved Viewing of Disciplines and Specializations in Availability Details
You can now view disciplines and specializations more clearly on the Explore and Apply for Availability screen.
- Single Discipline: If an availability has a single discipline, it will be displayed directly with its specialization in the left-side list view of availabilities.
- Multiple Disciplines: For availability with multiple disciplines and specializations, you’ll see a View All hyperlink, clicking over which will open a panel listing all disciplines and their respective specializations in an organized format.

Column-Level Filtering and Sorting for School Requests and Schedules
You now have the ability to filter and sort data by specific columns on the View and Track Request and Schedules and Onboarding screens.
- View and Track Request Screen: Sort by requested slots, date of request and confirmed slots.
- Schedules and Onboarding Screen: Filter by schedule status and sort by student details, preceptors, or schedule duration.
You can also apply multiple filters and sorting options simultaneously, making it easier to customize the data view and find the information you need quickly.

Export Slot Requests and Schedules Data in Excel Format
To make managing and sharing your schedule report easier, we’ve added the ability to export schedules data in Excel format directly from the View and track Requests and Schedules and Onboarding screens. This gives you quick access to detailed information for reporting, analysis, or collaboration with your team.
- View and Track Requests Screen: The exported file will include data fields such as Site Name, Location Name, Discipline, Specialization, Requested Duration, Requested Slots, Date of Request, Confirmed slots, and Status.
- Schedules Screen: Your Excel file will include fields such as Availability Name, Student Details, Site Name, Location Name and address, Preceptor, Duration, Student email address, and Status.
Simply click the Export button on the respective screen to export your data with all the relevant details included. A confirmation message will appear to let you know that the file is being prepared and will be available shortly.

Cancelling Student Schedules
We’ve added the capability for you to cancel student schedules directly from the platform, streamlining the process of managing cancellations.
- As an admin, you can now easily cancel schedules from the Schedules and Onboarding screen.
- When you cancel a schedule, automated notifications will be sent to the site, ensuring clear communication.
- You need to provide a reason for the cancellation, which will be recorded for future reference.

Bookmark Availabilities for Future Reference
You can now bookmark availabilities on the Explore and Apply for Availability screen for future reference.
- In the list view of availabilities, you can save any availability as a bookmark by clicking on the icon. All your saved availabilities will be easily accessible under the Saved tab on the left-hand list view.

Group-Level Communication with Sites
We’ve introduced the ability for you to communicate with sites at a group level on the Schedules and Onboarding screen.
- Now, you’ll find a message icon next to the overall group schedule row, allowing you to communicate with the site regarding the entire group. This makes it easier to coordinate group placements and updates.
