Q: What is Exxat One? 

A. Exxat One connects school, student and sites on a single platform for the student placement and onboarding process. It is designed to streamline the management of fieldwork rotations between educational institutions, healthcare providers, and students. It serves as a centralized hub for connecting these three key stakeholders, making the process more efficient and effective. 

Q: What is the email for support?

A: one-support@exxat.com

Q: Will this only be visible once we pay for this service?

A: Schools can gain access to Exxat One at no cost, whether you use Exxat Prism or not. The only time a cost comes into play is if a particular site has denoted that the payment is a responsibility of the student and those are cleared denoted in the system. The payment is not required until the student has been confirmed to a schedule.
Q: Is Exxat One a system where sites let schools know they have availability to host a student, or is it a program where schools can request sites to host a student?

A: Exxat One supports both options: sites indicate their available locations and schools are able to request placements at those locations.

Q: Will this only be for sites that are using Exxat One?

A: Yes, this is only for sites who have signed up to use Exxat One to manage their student placement process.

Access and Login

Q: I do not have the option for Exxat One. Do we need to request access?

A: Yes, you may need to request access if the Exxat One if you are not currently an Exxat user. If you are currently an Exxat Prism/V3 user but do not have access to Exxat One, please email us at one-support@exxat.com.

Q: I am currently using Prism, and when I log in, it automatically logs me into Prism with no option for One.

  A: If you’re not seeing the option for Exxat One, please email us at one-support@exxat.com

Q. If I have a University SSO for login to prism, can I use the same for Exxat One?  

A. Once you navigate to login.exxat.com and enter your email, you will be taken to a landing page. Clicking on Exxat One will trigger an email to your email address. Using this email you will be able to set your Exxat Credentials. 
Q. If I have Exxat login credentials for Prism, can I use the same for Exxat One? 

A. Yes, you can use the same credentials for Exxat One and Prism.  
Q. If I have V3 login credential for Prism, can I use the same for Exxat One? 

A. No, you need to use your Exxat Credentials. Once you navigate to login.exxat.com and enter your email, you will be taken to a landing page. Clicking on Exxat One will trigger an email to your email address. Using this email you will be able to set your Exxat Credentials. 
Q. Will ALL students see the Exxat One tile when they login? 

A. No, the students will not see Exxat One tile unless they have been confirmed by the school. 

Payments

Q: How do I know if a site requires payment for not?

While most sites are currently covering the cost if it is a student pay, it will be denoted on the request but you can always look ahead at the list on our Help Center here.

Q: What are the payment options if a site does choose student payment?
A: They can choose a $20 per placement fee or a $40 per student fee that covers all the placements for that student at locations under that parent company/site.
Q: Does the $40 per student payment method only cover the cost of all placements at one specific site, or all placements for any site using Exxat One?

A: It covers all placements at locations under that parent company/site. That payment does not cover all placements on Exxat One at other sites.

System Functionality

Q: How are these placements populated in the system? Do sites indicate their availability?

A: Sites add their availability, and schools can make requests based on those availabilities.

Q: If you publish the placements in Prism, do you still need to confirm?

A: Yes, this integration is not live today. You will need to confirm the student in Exxat One for them to get access and be able to being their onboarding.

Q: Is there a way for student information (names/emails) to be imported from Exxat Prism instead of manually inputting it when assigning them to rotations?

A: This integration is coming soon, Q1 2025 !

Q: Does the school have to use the compliance tracking for onboarding materials in Exxat One?

A:  These are site specific requirements that the site has denoted as requirements for the student to complete to be compliant with the site.

Q: Will we still have the ability to send slot requests the same way in Prism too?

Yes, slot requests can still be sent in Prism for all sites who do not use Exxat One.

Q: Will we be unable to continue to use Prism for placements?

A: Yes, you will still manage your placements in Prism but the request process for placements with sites that are using Exxat One will need to happen on the Exxat One platform.
