In this release, we’ve introduced significant enhancements to key features, making it easier and more efficient to explore opportunities, manage requests, and track schedules. With improved filtering capabilities and enhanced request attributes, these updates are tailored to streamline your workflow and maximize productivity.
Here’s a closer look at what’s new:
Viewing Availabilities in Alphabetical Order
We’ve made improvements to streamline how availability is displayed:
- Alphabetical Sorting: Availabilities under the All-Opportunities list are now sorted alphabetically by site name.
- Improved Efficiency: This update allows for quicker navigation and easier evaluation of opportunities, saving you valuable time.
Enhanced Start and End Date Filtering while Exploring Opportunities
We’ve refined the Start Date and End Date filters to provide more precise results, ensuring you can easily identify the most relevant opportunities:
- Start Date Filter: Displays availabilities that start on or before the selected start date.
- End Date Filter: Displays availabilities that end on or after the selected end date.
- Combined Filters: When both filters are applied, availabilities starting on or before the selected start date and ending on or after the selected end date are displayed.
These enhancements are designed to streamline your search process and help align availabilities seamlessly with your rotation schedules.
Enhanced Request Form Fields Based on Site Needs
We’ve introduced new customizable fields configured by sites to help you submit more detailed and aligned requests:
- Streamlined Request Process: Requests for availabilities can now be submitted through a convenient drawer view on the Explore and Apply screen. This view displays availability details (shifts and date range) alongside request fields for easy input.
- New Customizable Fields: While submitting a request, you can now specify:
- Exact Hours: Number of hours students will spend at the site for community benefit tracking.
- Rotation Number: Indicating the students’ experience level.
- Semester: The current semester of the students.
- Shifts: The session during the day.
- Specific Shift Timings: For different days of the week when the availability is open.
- Location Unit: Specific unit of the location, if multiple units are listed.
- Preceptor Name: Your preferred preceptor for the availability.
- Flexible Configuration: The attributes displayed on your request form will depend on the specific fields the site requires for their availability.
- Retained Default Fields: The default fields—Number of Slots, Start Date and End Date, Discipline and Specialization, and Graduation Date—will remain on the request form and are unaffected by the addition of customizable fields.
These enhancements enable you to submit more detailed and site-aligned requests, fostering better collaboration and greater efficiency.
Viewing Unit Name on Requests and Schedules screen
We’ve added a Unit Name column to key screens, making it easier to manage and track activities:
- View and Track Request Screen:
- Easily identify the unit associated with each request.
- The unit name now appears alongside the location name for each slot request.
- Schedules and Onboarding Screen:
- Unit names are displayed in the grid alongside the location column, simplifying schedule and onboarding management.
